Current Exploration and Production
ROG currently owns and operates wells in Martin, Dawson and Nolen Counties, Texas. ROG also has a significant non-operated investment in a horizontal project in McClain County, Oklahoma, and other smaller non-operated investments in Texas and Oklahoma.
Exploration and Production Timeline
1999 ROG purchases the Breedlove field and other oil and gas assets in Martin and Dawson Counties in west Texas. ​​​

​2002 ROG drills its first well, a successful test for the Devonian formation on the Breedlove leasehold.​​
​​​​
2004-2015 ROG identifies and develops productive extensions of two Spraberry fields in Martin and Dawson counties.
ROG successfully waterfloods both Spraberry fields.​​​
​​​
2006 ROG acquires 4,500 acres to form the Mabee Breedlove field in Martin County, near its existing Breedlove
field acreage.

2008-2013 ROG’s strategic drilling of Wolfberry wells in the Mabee Breedlove field successfully identifies the existence
and depths of oil bearing reservoirs suitable for horizontal development in the area.

2013 ROG sells the Mabee Breedlove field to Diamondback Energy who initiates a horizontal drilling program.

2013-2021 Horizontal drilling by Diamondback and other operators in the area establishes the strong economics of
horizontal wells in northwestern Martin County.

2021 ROG sells their prized Breedlove field to a private equity backed company focused on the Permian Basin.

Present ROG continues to pursue investments which balance reward against risk incurred.
